Eagles Lodge Motel

Really great service at check in and a nice "to go" breakfast from 5am each day. Within half an hour of Acadia National Park, it was perfect for getting to and from everywhere we wanted to get to. Would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting to visit this area.

Called to see if a room was available for the night. Jenna was very helpful and was able to make a reservation. Wasn't sure about this place from other reviews. But it was OK and would stay here again. The management is doing some construction to the outside of the building. But it did not bother our stay. King bed was not available, but two double beds were roomy. Bed was comfortable, towels soft. The bathroom is small with a toilet and bathtub behind the door. The sink is in the main room. I would recommend staying here.

Did stay there on the 7th & 8th of August, very lucky to stay there because we had no reservations. The place is clean but yes the building amd rooms are clean but need a refresh. All staff was very nice and accommodate us perfectly and even a little set up to wash my motorcycle in the shade + the breakfast is limited but ok and the coffee is not strong enough. The pool is definitely dead and would need to be repair . For the price it was fair considering the season and time of the year and short notice .

We stayed here October 2023 for easier access in and out of Acadia & Bar Harbor, and I think this was a great stay for what it is. It's a budget-friendly motel, and with those expectations, you'd be perfectly fine with it. I think a lot of people opt to stay here instead of the $300-per-night hotels in Bar Harbor, but keep the same $300-per night expectations. The staff were fantastic and genuinely wanted you to have a good stay, I loved that the continental breakfast was super early (I think 5AM), and you had pretty good access to food/stores nearby. The sitting area in particular had a really great vibe at night to sit and eat or just relax. The rooms and building are definitely a bit dated, the signage/entrance/parking could use work, and it's in a fairly urban area, but all in all we enjoyed our stay here.

We appreciated our stay here! While its true what some reviewers say that it may be slightly outdated, the owners are working on bringing things up to speed. It was the only place we found in the area that was reasonably priced to stay within our budget while traveling through. We felt it was perfect for what we needed- A comfortable bed to sleep on and a hot shower! The place is clean, and close to so many attractions while being outside the hustle and crowds. Everyone was so friendly and helpful throughout our stay. They even were happy to ship me an item I’d left behind during our visit!! Definitely would stay again. Thanks Eagles Nest!:)

Amazing place to stay. The people here are family to us and they have made our transitions as easy as possible, our "dog" loves everyone and has grown so much, The views are fantastic, the location is great to Because you can see for miles, the moon rises are perfect. We are beyond greatful for The eagles lodge and specifically Mrs charity is as incredible as a hotel manager can get.

In a time of sincere need we were shown generosity by the staff member on duty. I don't know how that is scored in the algo but I sure think it is worthy of mentioning. Thank you

This is forever where we will stay any time we're anywhere "Down-east" in Maine. Listen, it's a 1980s motel, yes. They are working to update things, but honestly the nostalgic setting is part of the charm for me. The most important things are priceless, though - they have GOOD coffee available 24/7. They put the grab and go breakfast out at 5am because they know many of their guests are either getting an early start to adventuring or are traveling workers. The heat works great in the winter and the a/c is cold in summer. They take care of their guests. If you need anything at all, the Eagle staff is the most dedicated, amazing team. It feels like one, big family. They take security seriously, and you can rest assured that you are safe. The rooms have plenty of space, and the hot water never runs out. They have more local information, brochures, posters, and personal knowledge than the average chamber of commerce. If you want to know anything about local options, they'll help you find the answers. We love this beautiful home away from home and cannot recommend it highly enough!!!
